GameStop Corp. Launches Community Service Grant Program; Youth Volunteerism Promoted to Create Positive Change in Communities
GRAPEVINE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 19, 2006--GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME)(NYSE:GME.B), the world's largest video game retailer and Do Something, the national youth action champion, today announced an innovative grant program to engage young members of the community in programs of service and leadership. The grants provide individuals under the age of 25 with the opportunity to create community service projects based on local needs and issues.
