GameStop Hosts Midnight Launch Events for NCAA Football 10

Compete in a One-day Tournament to Win a T-shirt and Xbox 360 Faceplate

GRAPEVINE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul. 9, 2009-- GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME), the world’s largest video game and entertainment software retailer, today announced that it will host midnight launch events for Electronic Arts’ NCAA Football 10 at more than 1,300 of its U.S. locations on Monday, July 13, 2009.

Football fans from any conference will have their chance to represent their team by participating in several activities including:

  • “Ultimate Football Fan” Contests
  • Tailgate Party Challenges
  • “End Zone Dance” Contests
  • In-store tournaments

The tournament will test players’ skills on the field against other contestants on NCAA Football 10 on the Xbox 360. Starting at 10 p.m., players will be randomly paired off for the opening match and continue until the last two players remain to compete. The winner of the final match goes home with an NCAA Football 10 T-shirt and Xbox 360 faceplate.
