GameStop (NYSE: GME) today announced that it will host midnight launch
events for Microsoft’s Halo Wars at more than 2,000 stores
nationwide. Starting at 10 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2009, customers can
visit their local GameStop and get in line to be the first to get their
hands on the newest Halo game.
Fans will have the opportunity to bring out their inner Warthog by
participating in one or more of the following events:

Halo 3 tournaments
-
Warthog races
-
Character dress up contests
-
Trivia challenges
Event goers will also get a chance to score Halo removable skins for
their Xbox 360 at participating stores, while supplies last.
Most participating GameStop locations will begin their events at 10 p.m.
local time; however, customers are asked to contact their local store to
confirm the exact time of the event.
